Monday Night Madness
From the moment the curtains shifted sideways,and the magnificent Seven were in view the party started.With a capacity crowd of 4000 right behind them from the off the boys could do no wrong.Hit after hit followed with some of the new material thrown in for good measure.All the hits (well almost)were warmly received.The new material was superb with My Girl 2,Never Knew Your Name,Leon,Misery and Death of A Rude Boy getting an airing.Misery getting the biggest cheer,it has to be a single sooner or later.
From the half way point onwards almost everyone in the seats was up on thier feet making for a great atmosphere.The begining of showtime was slightly different with Chrissy-Boy singing Tainted Love by Soft Cell!from there on in it was one massive party that no one wanted to end.
For me personally it was the 12th time i have seen the boys live and i can honestly say it's the best gig i have ever seen them play live.Like a fine wine they just get better with age.
As they say on the shite factor it's a yes from me
Normally at Bmth it's standing apart from up in the gods,last night was different it was Three Quarters seating with standing right at the front,and boy was it a bit cramped standing or rather dancing,these 48 year old bones are aching a bit today.
