It,s a pity Nev won,t be touring with them, however i still would not want to go.. The Specials are one of only a Few bands that i would still pay to see these days. I suppose it,s like asking me would i go to see Madness with another member besides Bedders not touring with them.. Probably - as long as it wasn,t Suggs, then it wouldn,t work.. Same as with The Specials without Terry, Anyway.. Rant Over

Trouble is Nev is the perfect foil for Terry....he's the constant whirl of motion to Terry's deadpan.....and I'm not sure a gig will work as well without him there to add that whirl....don't have any tickets booked yet, but will have to think long and hard before doing so now....the comeback gigs in 2009 were fantastic and although it's a shame that Dammers wasn't there he wasn't "noticeable" as missing whereas I think Nev would be....

Aye, quite agree. I think another one of the 'main' elements are now missing from the lineup and therefore (in my opinion) it's just not The Specials anymore. Don't get me wrong, it'll probably still be a great gig, but it reminds me of The Specials lineup of the '90s when there was hardly anything special about it...same goes for most bands when they lose the key players. Sunnyside, The Dug
