Social media usage continues to grow steadily, both in terms of the number of users and the amount of time they spend browsing them. According to the Digital 2022 report recently published by We Are Social and Hootsuite , the number of social media users has grown by 10.1% (424 million new users) compared to last year. The average amount of time they spend per day (2 hours 27 minutes) has also grown by 1.4%.
