So this year it`s 25 years ago `The Madness` was released. We all know now that EMI has the rights. Will EMI give `The Madness` the same treatment as they did with Mad not Mad, 3 years ago, and will we finally have the "S" and "7 " in our collection ??
Who knows ??

I could be wrong, but I thought that EMI were in some financial trouble in the past year or 2, and were taken over by someone else, or different parts of EMI were taken over by various other companies, and in all of this, the whole thing about the release of the The Madness album was not a priority for the company who owns the album now. I could be wrong, but I think thats what I remember reading about the situation

From a review on Amazon:
6 Jan 2013 22:18:53 GMT R. Garvey says: Hi again... Just thought Id let you know... I got a reply from Union Square Music! It's not good news but at least its something definitive. I'll put their actual reply word for word in quotes... "The Madness is controlled by EMI so unfortunately we cannot reissue it. It's the one album that we do not have access to. All the best," ... so that's it! Union Square are NOT going to be re-releasing / re-issuing the greatest underrated album ever. I think it's also very unlikely EMI will, but at least we now know!
