2012 has been a vintage year for Madness....up there with the very best of them. From jubilee to Olympics...new recordings and great performances. What can we expect in 2013? What would you like to see in 2013? For me, (being extremely greedy). I would like.. Our House the musical to return. Some big big concerts...Glastonbury or Madstock. A TV special...an audience with Madstock or similar. Misery to be a monster chart hit A OBE or similar for services to entertainment (bugger me they seem dished out like toffee  ) Happy new year to all. Jim  |

I agree they should be given an award for their work in the industry.
I would like Madness to do a stadium tour like all the football stadiums across the UK.
(I know it might not be a big hit as it`d be a big ask to sell 40,000 plus tickets but then look at the original madstock sold out over two nights so it might work)
An audience with is a good idea but with itv and their love of adverts that wouldnt do it justice.
For the box set release of the album. I think that it should just be a two disc set with the dvd included from butlins (like what they did with Norton Folgate) but saving the extra tracks for a new album to be released later in the year 2013. so this way we get two releases in one year.
Lets face it USM are probably going to release another compilation at some point including songs from Oui Oui.

Ah 2013...so far away!!! The box set is tentatively slated for a March release and it looks as if most (if not all) of the 'finished/missing' tracks from the 'Oui, Oui' sessions will be included. Personally I'm just hoping to see the band play live as much as possible...and all I'd really like to see is the re-release of the delayed 'The Madness' album.  Looking forward to the Box set and the "Extras" that come with it, and Hopefully seeing MADNESS playing Live on Tour again in 2013 !!!!
