Featured in the 2003 Xmas Tour live set if I remember rightly.....took my son (then 9 now 18) to his first ever gig on that tour....March Of The Gherkins also featured....a recording of Prospects from that tour though made it to the freebie CD given away by the Mail On Sunday

I still find it weird why Dust Devil was chosen as lead single for Folgate. Why? It is so average. It even got to number 64 which is not bad so surely that meant there was a top 40 place to be had for a much better song like That Close or Idiot Child.
Other songs I would have had as singles - "Sarah's Song" was superb - so bittersweet and wistful - even better Than One Better Day - should have got a release to back up Our House musical.
Not sure if Johnny The Horse was a good follow up to Lovestruck - that doo doo chorus was just too weak. Perhaps The Wizard would have been better even though it was a bit daft.
I liked Sugar and Spice - whuich Suggs said was a follow up to My Girl. So why then release My Girl 2?
I just don't get the thinking - at least give yourselves a chance of getting airplay by picking a strong track.

Magic Carpet would have been a great Madness single with a bit of tweaking

Well it might be that How can I tell you becomes another gem not chosen for a single.
If reports are correct it's gonna be Never knew your name, a good enough track but not my favourite choice, it's behind the above, Leon, Misery and So Alive in my view.

Agree that Never Knew Your Name isn't obvious single material - but do think it's a very good album track....think it's been chosen as the single for France from what I've read and they apparently filmed a video for it in Trafalgar Square the other week - although have read one report suggesting that was just for a "to be broadcast in the New Year" TV show, and one suggesting it's for the single release....so not sure...
