I thought Simon Mayo said Radio 2 would really push Misery as a single if it came out...

So why is it stuck on C list for 3 weeks then????

Agree....such a great tune, but not really heard much of it on Radio 2 this week..
Disapointing really.....mind you, like wise, are the band even pushing it..?

To be honest and it has been said by many before the singles are not really important to the
band. Again it comes down to money and madness are not signed to a major label therefore the money
to push a track isn`t there.

Like previous singles the single release has not got anything new on it so to the non-die hard fans
it is not worth buying even though the single is strong.

I am a presenter on hospital radio and receive mp3`s of singles from a distributor who distributed misery to us.
Anyhow for them alone distribution of songs can be from £500 to thousands depending on the level a band or singer wants to be pushed as far as the distributing goes and then you have to hope the radio stations choose to play it.

I think the release was ill-timed - it is beautifully sunny, Murray is doing well at Wimbledon etc -

Think you may have a point..i listen to R2 all day.....not heard it for days now...why would they play it when its so sunny....shame really...such a good tune

I think if they had to do a 4th single - should have gone with So Alive although it is a bit cheesy.

Gutted...misery is off the R2 play list.
Just been on holiday for ten days. Radio 2 on almost constant....never heard it.
Shame cause its an ace tune
