Whilst browsing through amazon I came across a reissue of The Liberty of Norton Folegate to be released 5th August. It appears to be on the Salvo label. Here's the link.

I have to say with the CD, the box set, and the deluxe DVD edition already out, I can't help wonder if Salvo are milking it a little. I wonder if they'll put an 'S' on the spine to make up for never re-releasing 'The Madness?' Although, then we'd have to file the albums in a different order, it would be carnage.

I guess the good thing about it is that it will keep the album in circulation. I'm not sure how long Lucky 7 records could finance keeping the record in print.
I only wish Salvo were releasing a 'deluxe edition' of the Album in similar format to the other reissues, with all the b-sides and bonus tracks in one affordable package. Maybe one day.

Was the deluxe edition ever available through record shops? I ordered it originally when it was put up on the Madness site for pre-order, and can not remember if it was ever given a general release or was just available online

Although I once saw a copy behind the counter in a HMV I'm pretty sure the main place to get it was via the mad shop.

I got my copy through the Mad Shop, I just couldn't remember if it got a general release, and that you saw one in HMV, it must have been released to shops, I had just forgotten whether or not it had been.
