Listening to the box set it struck me that the band have developed a knack for name-checking their heroes.
Ian Dury, Aretha Franklin and Labi Siffre all get a mention.
Therefore I decided that I could work out who they have loved over the years by seeing who else has been name-checked in the past.
So far I have come up with:
Michael Caine
Brian Ferry (4BF)
Georgie Fame (Mad Not Mad)
Walter Mitty (In the City)
Pans People (Land of Hope and Glory)
Prince Buster (The Prince)
There are a few names in the track Liberty of Norton Folgate but I can't say that I've heard of any of them.
So my only conclusion is that it's a pretty strange list of heroes.
Have I missed any?
