 MADNESS have announced an Irish Summer Date!!! They will play in The Bolton Street Festival (Daytripper.ie) on 29thJune in WATERFORD , Ireland. This is a New 3 Day Festival, with Imelda May Headlining the Friday Nite, The Coronas on Sunday, and MADNESS on The Saturday Nite!! This is the First time for MADNESS to Play in WATERFORD, but there is a connection that goes back to the FIRST MADSTOCK in 1992. Local Music promoter Mick o Keeffe and Vince Power (mean fiddler) are both from Waterford and were involved in the promotion of the First Madstock.. Tickets are on sale next Friday morning, priced 42.50 Happy Days for me, i,m only a 30 minute drive away from this!!! This is a 2,500 capacity, so it will Sell Out very fast... there is a very Strong Ska & Mod SCENE in Waterford

I'm thrilled that MADNESS will be playing at the Bolton Street Festival in Waterford on June 29th. It's amazing to see such a great lineup with Imelda May and The Coronas as well. The local connection to the first Madstock in 1992, especially with the involvement of best fiddler Vince Power, makes it even more special. I can't wait to get my tickets on Friday—only a 30-minute drive for me too! Happy days indeed! |
